About this Event
We often hear about the need to tackle diversity and inclusion and as a result, there is lots of focus on gender or age. What we do not hear about is the focus on race, why there is a lack of black people at board level, and how organizations can and need to improve their infrastructures for more people of colour to be successful.
During the virtual conversation, Derek Bruce will take us on his journey of being a senior black HR professional who has worked globally and prominently in London and Amsterdam and highlight subtle differences around culture and perception, which ensure people of colour only reach a certain level, and signpost where we as HR professionals can make a change in how organizations move away from racism.
